This site does not gather or store any personally identifying information. If you use the contact form to contact us, then any details you supply to us in the contact form may be stored in our records. We will not disclose this information to third parties, and we will take reasonable precaution to ensure these records are secure.
The searchable online terminology lists retain anonymous search logs. We may use these anonymous logs for academic linguistic research. We may also use them to improve the terminology lists (e.g. by analyzing most-frequent not-founds and prioritizing those for subsequent addition).
A cookie is a piece of text stored by your web browser on your computer. We make limited use of non-personally-identifying cookies to help offer site functionality such as remembering your current search results for the duration of the browser session, or remembering your site localization preferences, or for improving the accuracy of the search logs (e.g. attempting to anonymously track returning users). You may block or disable these cookies in your web browser preferences, though note that some functionality on the site may no longer work correctly in that case.
We do not have any third-party cookies and embed no third-party tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics or other embedded "analytics" scripts. We may in future add embedded online advertising, which may involve third-party tracking cookies. (If you are concerned about your privacy in that case, we recommend a browser addon such as AdBlock.)
This policy may be revised from time to time.
